Janette Kieffer

Janette has experience coaching a number of different sports but her hearts passion has always been dancing. Due to this love she has gained an extensive background of experience and training within this field. Janette has been fortunate to have been trained by those who value the goals and aspirations of others, working hard and as a team player, also working together encouraging one another to accomplish their goals and reach their fullest potential. Her teachers have been positive role models who led by example were energetic, creative and compassionate. Janette works very hard at taking these qualities she has learned from her mentors and applying it now to her everyday teaching and dealings with others.

Janette has been trained extensively in all areas of dance but has the most experience when it comes to lyrical, point/ballet, jazz, hip hop along with pom and cheer. She has been training since the age of six, and has had the opportunity to tour Europe performing and taking classes with Kehl’s dance company. She has landed various different rolls in the Nutcracker Ballet throughout the years. She was selected to join the USA cheerleading team in high school traveling to Australia. Janette has taught at various dance studios, ages and ability levels. She directed a summer dance program in 2000. She has participated and judged many cheer and dance competitions, organized parades, community events, and performances around the U.S. Janette was also the Northern Arizona Universities spirit line stunt and dance coach in 2000. She graduated from NAU with an elementary education degree and has taught in the school system for 4 years here in Arizona before beginning her own family.

What speaks louder than all her experiences is her hearts desire to continue what she loves to do. Her heart has never stopped dancing and her desire to teach and encourage children of all ages to believe in who they were made to be and reach their fullest potential will always be her passion. As Janette is truly blessed as a full time mom raising her family together with her husband, her heart has never stopped dancing as she continues to do what she loves to do- teach & encourage children of all ages to believe in who they were made to be & to reach their fullest potential. Janette has been a wonderful addition to our teaching staff this past year as she is loved by all of her students at A Time To Dance Studio!
